The empty dirt spaces of the Dallas Zoo were recently upgraded with the most resilient and highest quality artificial grass from SYNLawn®. This incredible 4,000 square foot project was designed and completed using SYNTipede 343.
The Dallas Zoo is visited by thousands of people on a regular basis which requires a surface that can handle the demand of heavy foot traffic.

Sanitized® Antimicrobial – removes pet odors and 99% of bacteria from turf surfaces as well as prevents the growth of bacteria and fungus
DualChill™ IR Reflective Technology – substantially lowers surface temperatures and protects surfaces from fading under direct sunlight
StatBlock™ Anti-Static – prevents the buildup of static electricity from the turf surface
SYNLawn®’s proprietary backing technology is called EnviroLoc™. This backing system uses bio-based polymers produced from soybean oil to replace a significant percentage of petroleum-based components making it safer for the environment.
EnviroLoc™ provides a sturdy anchor that locks in turf fibers to prevent shedding. The porous body of our EnviroLoc™ technology allows for optimal drainage making it available for use almost immediately after being exposed to water.
The long lifespan of our eco-friendly synthetic grass collection helps to conserve hundreds of gallons of water each year, and its plant-based design helps to decrease the impact on local landfills and reduce our carbon footprint

This artificial turf solution is IPEMA certified making it safe for children of all ages to utilize for activities, athletics, and even for unexpected accidents.
This certification means our products are designed to help protect against common injuries and abrasion and can help protect against up to a 10-foot fall.
In addition, in the unfortunate event that a fire was to break out, we have fire tested SYNTipede 343 to ensure it is safe for any environment. SYNTipede 343 is ASTM E108 Class A fire rated.
This significantly increases the time that first responders have to arrive and extinguish the fire, minimizing overall property damage and injuries.
