Houston Artificial Grass Installation at Holy Ghost Catholic School
Holy Ghost Catholic School’s multi-purpose outdoor common area received a massive overhaul this past December. SYNLawn® had the unique opportunity to redesign this 14,000 sq. ft. outdoor area for children to take a break from classes and enjoy the outdoors. Holy Ghost School is a Christ-centered community dedicated to building Catholic wisdom in educational excellence in order to nurture our multi-cultural family in mind, heart, and spirit. Holy Ghost Catholic School’s purpose is to equip students with a challenging academic curriculum while also instilling Christian virtues via Catholic religion and community involvement. For this project, SYNLawn® installed SYNTipede 321 with its superior durability and gorgeous, life-like appearance to withstand heavy foot traffic and weather conditions.
SYNTipede 321 is recognized for its superior toughness and natural appearance. It is the tallest in the collection, with Super Yarn™ technology for a durable surface that is excellent for active kids and dogs, as well as peace of mind for all sorts of landscaping tasks. SYNTipede 321 is also among the large list of available USDA-certified products from SYNLawn®. This means that a large portion of our Houston artificial grass options contains more than 70% bio-based content. SYNLawn® is proudly the first artificial turf manufacture to gain this achievement and is dedicated to creating products that help create a brighter ecological future. Additionally, to further this, SYNTipede 321 comes standard with our EnviroLoc™ backing system.
The exclusive SYNLawn® EnviroLoc™ backing system is made with recyclable materials including soybean oil. We partner with US soybean farmers to locally source materials that allow our products to provide exceptional durability and an extended lifetime. EnviroLoc™ is a woven backing that secures turf fibers to prevent shedding, Due to the heavy foot traffic in the common area of the school, it was necessary to provide a turf solution that could counter this. EnviroLoc™ replaces the majority of petroleum-based materials from standard backing. In addition, our turf fibers are made from sugar cane allowing for our products to be recycled.
Super Yarn™ technology is the result of years of research and development throughout the entire synthetic grass industry. This molecularly bound formula combines three turf components that no other company can offer.
- Sanitized® Antimicrobial – eliminates 99% of bacteria from turf surfaces as well as prevents the growth of bacteria and fungus and pet odors caused by ammonia
- DualChill™ IR Reflective Technology – significantly lowers surface temperatures and protects surfaces from fading under direct sunlight
- StatBlock™ Anti-Static – prevents the buildup of static electricity from the turf surface
