Recently, SYNLawn Houston had the pleasure of lending a hand in installing artificial grass for the Witte Museum in San Antonio, Texas. The Witte Museum empowers visitors to influence Texas’ future through science, nature, and culture. This commercial turf installation features three of our artificial turf options to create a landscape inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci sequence is a set of integers (the Fibonacci numbers) that starts with a zero, followed by one, then by another one, and then by a series of steadily increasing numbers. The sequence follows the rule that each number is equal to the sum of the preceding two numbers.

SYNTipede 243 artificial turf delivers all the features of our top-of-the-line products, including delustered and UV-stabilized colors, which help ensure long-lasting beauty as well as life expectancy. This simplistic synthetic turf option provides strength and resilience not commonly found in competitor turf varieties with a low-profile pile height.
Classic Pitch
Classic Pitch is a perfect addition for large-scale commercial installations. Classic Pitch synthetic grass prevents shedding, resists heavy foot traffic, and helps to prevent injuries alongside the other turf options utilized in this project. It is perfect for a variety of applications such as golf, bocce, playgrounds, and more, and it features UV-stabilized yarns that avoid fading year-round.
SYNSport (Vegas Gold)
This multi-purpose artificial turf is ideal for large indoor and outdoor applications, such as golf entertainment courses, custom turf logos, athletic fields, and backyard play areas. It is ideal for those who are looking for high performance and quality on a budget. Our Vegas Gold color was utilized for some of the outlines in this installation and is one of the many color options we have to offer for custom turf designs.
IPEMA Certification
At SYNLawn Houston, we agree that safety must always be a top priority. The Witte Museum staff also agreed with this importance and chose these three options as they all meet stringent commercial safety standards. Having IPEMA certification means they have been independently tested to comply with proper fall height attenuations of up to 10 feet. Our IPEMA-certified synthetic grass is proven to help prevent common injuries and abrasions.
Class A Fire Rated
By fulfilling the industry’s highest safety requirements, SYNLawn Houston artificial grass is designed to help protect your property, family, and friends. Traditional grass might be a spark for a fire, but with SYNLawn synthetic grass, your landscape can act as a barrier to a property tragedy. SYNTipede 243 boasts a class A fire rating, the highest available for surface materials. Class A fire-rated turf must pass eight unique burn tests to achieve this and prove that it can slow the spread of fires by melting and blackening.
